I love creating with bright and bold watercolors, and have recently learned how to carve linoleum blocks, mounted on wood, and then paint them with acrylics.
It’s so much fun coming up with unusual subjects to paint; many times my paintings end up having a whimsical and sometimes humorous touch. My style of art reflects the simple joys in life that I bask-in every moment of the day. Many people have told me that my art makes them chuckle inside, giggle out loud… which of course brings a smile of satisfaction to my face.
End of Fish Tale
I also spend much time and effort creating 1-of-a-kind ink and watercolor greeting cards – - giggles for all occasions! Living in Florence, Oregon, a coastal-river town, I enjoy watching hundreds of gulls dart hither and yon, which gives me great joy… bringing these sassy and sociable creatures ashore, and presenting a bird’s eye view of human’s nature, thus my ever-popular Gull’s First Impressions© card series. I also create what I call Ink-spur-ational greeting cards, using inspirational quotes, ink and watercolors.
