Beginning Monday, April 5th, Seeds of Spring Fever have been planted, painted, fired, turned, sculpted, sewed, beaded, glued, carved and photographed by the entire membership of Backstreet Gallery. The gallery’s abundance of artistic creations, inflected by thoughts of Spring emerging, include forms of fruit, vegetables, flowers, frogs, birds, butterflies, farm animals and gardeners.
Live-Plants on Backstreet’s front porch will be for sale April 10, during GALA Art Walk, from 3:00 – 6:00 pm, with flower and vegetable starts, grown by artists who cannot keep their hands out of the soil in spring.
A “People’s Choice Award” for the art that receives the most votes from gallery visitors will be announced April 28, at “After Hours,” 5:00 – 7:00 pm.
